We have stayed at the Ligthouse many times over the past eight years. It stays our go to place.

✗ We were very cold in the room, but that is probably endemic to Colesberg in the middle of winter

A very decent place for the price.

✓ Very friendly and hospitable. The room was a good size and parking facilities were good (secure). We had a key to the main entrance door and remote gate, so had the freedom to go out and get supper.

✗ Load shedding, which is a national promblem in SA.

✓ Very clean. Pretty decorated. Cosy with lovely gardens too. Very friendly even got a free upgrade to a bigger room!

✓ This was very conveniently located on the main road, with inside safe parking. There were shower and bath facilities, very comfortable and clean, good wifi.. Except there was loadshedding when I got there but it was fine as I was only there over one night.

✗ The lights supplied during loadshedding were very weak and dim

Lovely home, friendly people, excellent value for money

✓ Very friendly reception despite arriving late on a Saturday night, lovely old home with antique but comfortable furniture. Had an upgrade to lovely room.

✗ Bathroom facing busy road in Colesberg (yes, Colesberg can be busy at night); but slept well with closed bathroom door.
