An ideal, comfortable stay.
✓ The suite was very comfortable, clean and exactly as pictured. House keeping was daily and the staff were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating- speaking just enough English to assist me when necessary and allowing for a later check in after some travel issues, which I was very grateful for. The hotel is only around a 15 minute walk from the centre of Taormina but it is a steep incline and quite a few steps coming back to the hotel, so be prepared for this. It may not be an ideal location for older people without a car or travellers who don’t want to break a sweat on the way home (you are quite high up the hill). However, this was not a problem for me, so this did not affect my stay. The breakfast was also nice, albeit not abundant with choices, but the view from the lobby is an exceptional panoramic view of the town and Mount Etna which is a nice way to start your day.
✗ If I had to nitpick, the WiFi at the property was not great and I actually could only connect to it on one side of the room. The private terrace is also not super private as other guests walk by regularly and can see into the terrace, as well as those staying in the rooms above. However, these were very small issues and my overall stay at Villa Greta was perfect.

✗ the location is actually okay but a little far from the center. at the way back to the hotel it was very tiring to walk because the location of the hotel is very high.
