Close to the long sandy beach of Amoudara, this hotel offers a comfortable and family atmosphere in combination with classic Greek hospitality and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

✓ I spent about 18 days trekking on Crete, staying in various parts of the island and selected Georgia's Garden as a cozy, family run boutique hotel for my last few nights. The hotel ticked all of the boxes and was ideal to spend time relaxing and reading by the pool in the very pretty garden. The decor is fresh and modern while maintaining a homely feel. Close to the beach and plenty of cafes/restaurants. A very quiet hotel without children (when I was there) which suited me at the time! It seemed that lots of guests return every year which is always a good sign...
✗ A few hiccups firstly when I was calling to extend my booking, and then a problem when I was checking in which led to me being driven to another of their properties. A sort of family all inclusive hotel miles away from the area where I wanted to be, in a semi industrial suburbe without the ambience of Amoudara and designed for lots of children!! Great for young families but not for a retired woman staying alone. Fortunately Elizabeth sorted it out and they found me a room at the hotel where I'd booked. My thanks to Elizabeth who has great customer support skills.
✓ The staff were exceptionally kind, in particular the woman on the front desk in the mornings. The breakfast was nice. It was exactly what I needed as a solo traveller, with the pool and beach extremely accessible. There’s no way to really meet other guests/start chatting, but bring a couple good books and you’ll be fine!
✗ Cleanliness around the pool etc. wasn’t great but it was so so beautiful, it didn’t matter
✓ The staff was great. Very kind and helpful.
✗ The location is really not the best. It’s pretty far from the city center, and there are much nicer beaches across the island. Unfortunately, The room didn’t feel clean at all.
✓ Lovely big clean room. Good AC. Breakfast had a reasonably good selection and plenty of. Close to the fabulous beach. A realy lovely quirky pool and relaxing area with plenty of choices to park yourself down.loads of shady trees and foliage ,sun beds ,swing chairs .canopy beds. Jacuzzi. Only stayed 1 night as a stop over but will come again for longer next time.
✗ Nothing to dislike.
✓ The staff are lovely. Family business, so always try to help their guests. Rooms always spotless. Shower gel and shampoo always provided. Pool area is lovely. There are plenty of sun loungers. The garden has lots of seating in shaded areas as well which is pleasant. There are games available for adults or children. Lovely outside bar area. Lovely breakfast, lots of choices.
✗ Nothing to say. I find hotel great.
✓ Chloe and George
✓ Nice garden and pool and very helpful and nice receptionnists

✗ Dinner not available but was given clear direction to nearby good taverna.
