this was the best hotel/resort I have ever experienced. it was absolutely beautiful and luxurious. the rooms are very fancy with the most beautiful decor. I loved everything about my stay including the workers. i can’t remember all their names but skinny, marsha, little bit, whitney, tanya, adriano, and tyra were very sweet and friendly. they made my stay as a solo traveler very enjoyable. when i come back to antigua i would stay at tamarind again.

the food from the restaurants partnering with the hotel is expensive and not tasty.

The facility/hotel was very nice and the location was amazing! It felt very laid back and relaxing. I especially liked that the facility is nestled between two beaches which offered interesting food and activity options. The beachs were also beautiful and not crowded. The staff were nice and pretty funny as well. We shared a few good laughs. Especially the restaurant staff during breakfast. Adriano especially, a staff member in reception, was very helpful and super courteous. The club house (main restaurant) and the pool weren't open during my visit but when it does open, it will add to the experience nicely. The facility does have an evening shuttle to nearby restaurants, and if you choose to go further, a taxi can be easily arranged. I've already recommended Tamarind Hills to friends who plan to visit Antigua this/next year.

I had a issue during which my room was without water for a few good hours, which ruined my last day a bit. But the staff eventually and fixed it just before I had to leave. Better communication in keeping me up to date with repairs would have made this experience less stressful.

Firstly, I do need to compliment the size of the room, I am quite tall and so standard hotel rooms are usually a little underwhelming, while this was perfect, the bed was huge and very comfortable. It was clean and since our room was on the top of the hill (which is something thing to take in consideration, it is hilly there and quite a steep walk up, the view was fantastic. The food we had in the premises was also very nice, everything we had was delicious, I recommend the Clubhouse for lunch they had a variety of poke options and we tried a few all were excellent. The best part, PEOPLE, everyone was super helpful and kind, they'd go the extra mile with a smile... never seen a concierge/gate people smiling while having to manually open the gate every time we drive past ... we were very impressed. The food we had in the premises was also very nice, everything we had was delicious, I recommend the Clubhouse for lunch they had a variety of poke options and we tried a few all were excellent.

I would not say I disliked, but it is an area of opportunity - breakfast choices. I understand they only opened the breakfast/lunch area there shortly before we arrived, the big restaurant was to open the week after our stay. I do need to say everything we had was very delicious, but the breakfast choices were quite limited and lacked i.e. a basic continental option (pastry butter, cheese, ham, vegetables). I do not eat sweet breakfast and that left me with a choice of a bagel with salmon (which I had a few times and was good) or full English - which I can have back in England where I live so I am not having that in the carribean for sure.

The property was beautiful and clean, but the highlight of my trip was the connection I made with the head of Guest Relations, Mr. Bancroft. He was very personable and tended to all my needs during my stay! Because of you, I will solo travel to Antigua and stay at Tamarind Hills again! Thank you again for making my visit to Antigua that much more special! Until next time.

The location was fantastic, right by 2 beautiful beaches. The villa was also superb - very stylish with great sea/beach/sunset views. The team, in particular Bancroft, were very helpful.

The villa is in a complex which is not yet complete. In particular, the communal pool and restaurant areas are not complete. However, we were aware of this in advance and were not disturbed at all by building noise as we were at the other side of the complex. It would have been nice ideally to have access to a large pool and restaurant on site, but it really was not a problem as our villa had its own pool and the beach was a very short walk away for sea swimming. There were also a few restaurants in easy walking distance, and it also meant we explored more of the island than we might otherwise have done which was great.

Location, decor, cleanliness, views and the outpouring assistance from the staff who made sure i enjoyed my solo trip to Antigua. It was great. I got there with nothing planned and in four days, I visited 4 of the best restaurants on the island, went on a full day safari island tour, Enjoyed an early morning helicopter tour around the island and recieved a in room massage service on my balcony with still one day left to beach and sleep. A trip to remember.

It was near one of the island’s best beaches. We had great views from the spacious balcony. The staff was helpful & accommodating.

Acess to the beach from our villa was difficult.

Quiet, comfortable, great place for a low key, non-touristic vacation experience. Lovely staff. Friendly, responsive, and efficient. Beautiful Beach!! Calm waters, no crazy fish moments.

The water in the ocean was chilly for me but still amazing. I don't think they can control that.

Location of resort excellent. Villa facilities generally excellent with a few exceptions. Most of the staff were great, very friendly and helpful but spoilt but one or two who were very poor.

Dinner and breakfast very poor. No teaspoons in the villa. No TV unless you subscribe to Netflix. Four person villa but only 2 sunbeds. No umbrella for patio table. Called Sunset Villas but can't see the sun setting from the villa. One member of staff promised to do certain things but either didn't or had to be chased!

Shocking , that they did not provide basic bathroom Amenities at a very isolated location without a nearby corner shop to by even items like , toothpaste:( . No in house disposable slippers. Maid service. Not daily . Charging usd1000 a day , surely these things are not costly.

Liked the room

Was very disappointed with jacuzzi, it kept losing water. This seeme to be an existing problem because it was mentioned by Bancroft when we first got there. We didn’t check in until 5 pm and he had to drain the water from last users, which should of been done prior. Also I know the construction is going on but the walkway to beach could of been cemented. It rained and the ground was very soggy.
