Pleasant

✓ Located in the middle of the old town centre this ancient palace is absolutely beautiful. A warm welcome by the superfriendly and attentive staff, private parking space (which is way to expensive!), a superb, clean room and bathroom, a restaurant that serves delicious regional food and drinks in a beautiful setting and a more than royal breakfast buffet.

✗ For a 5-star hotel non-functional WiFi is just unacceptable. Come on we're 2023, every basic hostal in the middle of nowhere today offers free functioning WiFi! It's sad, I needed it to work a little, but this would be the reason for choosing another hotel next time.

A fun place to stay

✓ Great location, helpful staff and a fun place to stay. The valet parking was excellent.

✗ Our room was at times a triumph of style over substance. The bath for example looked fantastic, but was quite uncomfortable to sit in. But full marks to the hotel for creating rooms that bring a smile to your face.

Are the Ubeda streets leading to your hotel and to car parking very narrow for a medium car the size of VW Golf or similar size car?? Are there any Ubeda driving tips (to handle narrow streets or parking problems)? Gracias.

There are some narrow streets, but the way to the hotel is easy for every car. Our valet service will park for you if you want your car parked in the hotel. We won't recommended using the car in Ubeda, it's better to explore it by walk.
