Hotel Restaurant Zagreb

We had a great weekend in a beautiful city.

✓ Me and my friend were on a short stay for the weekend and the place exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, and it was everything that was presented on the pictures. The hotel is easy accessible by tram and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet.

Excellent Stay, Amazing Owner

✓ Perfect location for getting the S-Bahn to the Koln Messe (4 minute walk) and room had everything I needed for work including desk and usb ports whilst wifi was adequate. Their restaurant was fantastic, quaint with excellent German/Croatian menu with fast service and very reasonable prices. Will happily return next year.

✓ Attached to very good restaurant. Bathroom, although shared, very close to my room and very clean and tidy. Clear instructions for checking in, even though no staff present.

✗ Room small, in attic, with low headroom over bed. No coffee or tea, even though there was a kettle! Shared bathroom. Difficult to find someone to pay for my room, as staff shared with busy restaurant.

Quite and peaceful

✓ contactless check-in was very easy, makes the check-in independent from your time of arrival the room was bigger than i expected, cleaness was ok there was an electric kettle with some tea and coffee in the room which i really liked

✗ it was very loud in the night and especially in the morning. we had to keep our windows open because it was very hot while we stayed there, but the street is right in front of the room so we couldn't get enough sleep

Clean, friendly, not expensive

Cozy rooms with almost zero human intervention

✓ I booked a single room but I was upgraded to a double room ( 2 single beds ). The property was clean with minimum human intervention. It is a 5 minutes walk from the nearest train station and is on the main road.

✗ I reached around 11 pm. This place does not have any 24x7 working reception (I could not find anyone at the reception at all during the complete duration of my stay). I had received a message from the property on Booking.com on how to check-in (which was well explained and worked a 100%). It would have been better if they would have called as not everyone has access to internet when they reach, and also I could have easily missed to read my email at 11 in the night.
