Good place to enjoy Kampot

✓ Very well located, this dormitory has all you need (bed, towel, fan, shower). There are 4 beds by dormitory, 2 dormitories and 1 bathroom. Bird's Nest is also a bar : you can have a drink on the lively street of Kampot center.

✗ The mattresses are very thin and it was very hot.

Came for a few nights ended up staying 2 weeks!

✓ I originally planned to stay here a couple nights then ended up staying two weeks! Lance the Canadian owner, and all the staff Paul, Kim, Mich the cleaning ladies & cooks were all so friendly & kind, I ate here many times and tried a bunch of things on the menu. Every time I was impressed with the big portions, great prices, fast service the room I stayed in had air-conditioning. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable and an amazing price, the best deal and greatest value in all of Kampot the in-house restaurant is excellent and there’s also a whole bunch of awesome restaurants all within a very short walking distance, the river and promenade walkway is only a block away. It is very centrally located! I don’t know what’s up with some of the bad reviews here but I know one person that left one they were just an irresponsible, obnoxious drunk person that could barely walk up the stairs and could barely speak so I wouldn’t take those bad reviews seriously like I said, I stayed here two weeks if it wasn’t awesome I would’ve been out of here a lot sooner If you’re looking for an awesome please add an amazing price. I highly recommend it. I will be sure to tell people I know about it and if I’m ever back, you know where I’ll be staying. 🙏👍😊

✗ Bolshi owner, very aggressive manager, ugly beligerent staff, Austrian guest moderating a sex chat ALL DAMN NIGHT!! He was too inconsiderate and lazy to type so he talked until 5 AM. Welcome to hell, folks. .....

i would stay again.

✓ the location is very good, next to shops, bars, restaurants, bike rental and more. staff are friendly. for the price the beds and showers are good. The room size is quite spacious (and balcony) and there are large lockers provided. i had a fan room and each person has a fan which is nice. the hostel itself is also a bar and restaurant (just looks like a bar) but the food was amazing and the menu had a large variety. can refill water for 1000.

✗ wifi didnt work in the room (was fine downstairs) ants in the room and on my bed so i kept getting bit. no curtains on the bed. lastly on booking they need to change the specifics. i 100% booked an ac room but was in a fan room, but it wasnt hot and in some cases i prefer the fan so it didnt bother me, just when you check in confirm with them i suppose. (prob a mistake as everyroom says it has ac when i booked, but looking at some reviews i knew they had a fan room)

✓ Central location, clean room, confortable bed. I asked for the bed in the shared room with AC and was fine, I think without the AC it would be hot

✗ -no soap, just one toilet at the dorm floor, a/c was broken
