* Central location * Very tight security * A big, green garden * Spacious and stylish rooms in traditional style beside clean and well serviced. * Many facilities like ATM, bank office, gift shop, etc inside the hotel complex. * Friendly staff who speak English very well. * A good restaurant.

* Despite all positive points prices over the average for Afganistan conditions. But honestly, they work to deserve every penny. Besides price point, I didn't see an important negative side during my visits.

Friendly staff, and exceptional service, just like any 5Start hotel around the world(even better). I really like the people working at the help desk and the security personal. They could all speak English and were very professional. Security was very very tight, possibly the safest spot in Kabul I will definitely stay here again.

I was hoping that the restaurants were serving Afghan cousins but sadly didn't see much. I hired a conference room for a day, and when the staff would enter the room for serving coffee or tea, they would not knock on the door. I guess it was a cultural thing. Hope it could be improved.

Beautiful gardens and architecture, good bathrooms. Professional staff.

Needs some tlc - carpets stained in places and the plumbing smells. Breakfast disappointing given the price and coffee very poor.

Location and view of mountain with words Afghanistan written on it.

Staff attitude in Kabul needed a lot to be desired considering a comparison with other Serena hotels. The staff was less. The reception didn’t puck phone at night. Room service was working at snails pace and didn’t remove utensils after door was ordered despite calls. Staff needs to be trained to be courteous.
