Great location but disappointing experience
✓ - the location is great, calm and well placed for a citytrip - beautiful building - friendly staff assisting well with our plans and excursions
✗ - hygiene was of an abominable condition, dirty pillows & sheets and the bed itself as well just as the staircase and overall interior which clearly don’t get a lot of attention. When arriving in our room we had no clean towels (but they were quickly given upon simple demand), the day after the trash bin was not emptied) the fact we never saw anyone from the cleaning staff and that other guests in their reviews complained about exactly the same only emphasises our worries. This is certainly below the standards one could expect from such a high rated establishment. - very uncomfortable beds, old and dirty mattresses that don’t give the necessary support for one of us - the breakfast: adequate in offer but disappointing in its details (hard boiled in stead of soft boiled egg, watery cappuccino, butter that was over time)

✗ our room was on the top floor. a lot of steep spiral stairs to climb with suitcases. breakfast could be better. also room had an odd design where shower and sink were on the opposite ends of the room as the toilet. really odd.
