Great location, breakfast, staff

✓ Great location, secure entry, parking was close by, and surprisingly easy to find in Oct. Breakfast was delicious, - lots of options and good quality (feta, veggies, cold cuts, boiled eggs, bread, butter/jam, yogurt, fruit, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, and eggs to order/omelette) Receptionist Claudia was very friendly and helpful. FYI - wifi password is on a sign by the checkin desk. Offer currency exchange but we didn’t use it, *** Found out that there is a Sibiu City App, which is FREE and includes audio guide in English, German, and Romanian, has info on parking, events, restaurants etc. but we just used it for the audio guide. :) **

✗ Bathroom was clean but it’s tiny. Due to the slanted ceilings, there’s a lot of empty spaces near the walls. Not a problem, but layout is a little odd. Possible downside- not very accessible for anyone who has a problem with stairs. Or very tall people would hit their head.

Short break in Romania

Adobrable hotel in the heart of Sibiu

✓ A very cute hotel located in the heart of Sibiu, our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was lovely and helpful, breakfast was rich and tasty. I also very much appreciate the possibility of self-check after hours.

✗ Our stay in The Council was very pleasant, I have nothing bad to say.

✓ Beautiful room - we had the suite which is perfect for a family of four. The hostess was really nice. It’s situated literally in the middle of the old town and is very close to everything. We had a great stay.
