✓ I didn’t have the breakfast. The location is truly special, and 8 will save up in order to be able to return - hopefully when short-staffing is not such an obvious problem. Having air conditioning controls in the bedrooms was a real treat.
✗ The spa pool was a major disappointment, in that it was only lukewarm. Everything else was wonderful.

✓ Great location - short walk to the beach and cafes/restaurants. It was clean and reasonably well supplied with kitchen utensils so we could make a basic meal. Bus stop right outside.
✗ It was VERY slippery getting into/out of the shower. An extractor fan in the bathroom would be beneficial rather than an open window with views to the street. Holidays are all about relaxing and going back to work feeling refreshed. The bed in the second bedroom did not allow this. It was hard with an electric blanket which had no padding over the wires.

✓ The location is amazing. Opposite to a beautiful beach. The ambience of the hotel was very nice. Room was a bit small but not too bad for 2 people. If you taking your pet, do call and let them know in advance as there is no pet drop down option on booking.com. Rooms with pets are different from rooms for guests only.
✗ Hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Our Beachfront Apartments and Oceanview Apartments welcome dogs. There is an additional $40 fee per dog, and a $200 refundable dog bond. Please note dogs are not allowed in our Courtyard Apartments, or our Superior Strand Apartments, so please check.

Our Ocean View and Beachfront apartments do allow dogs. There is a fee of $40 for each dog, and a refundable $200 dog bond. And yes, apartments with king size beds can have the beds split into two singles (additional costs apply).
