✓ Great location, friendly staff
✗ Little bit used feeling in the hotel but it was clean and the bathroom was quite new
✓ Location excellent and very quiet on my floor
✗ Miserable welcome from a man at reception who would barely talk and just shrugged his shoulders when I said a friend had given the property a positive recommendation; why is this person on reception greeting guests?
✓ The location of this hotel is excellent, right around the corner and up the hill from Bugibba Square where you can get all the shops, eateries and pubs you could ever need. My room was clean, a good size and the bathroom had obviously been recently refurbished. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on food. I would return to this hotel for the location and the price.
✗ After reading other reviews I asked for a room on a high floor and was given one on the 3rd floor (of 5) where my "sea view" was a sliver at each end of the balcony..... I feel charging extra for a sea view from this hotel is a bit cheeky. The staff at this hotel need a wee injection of happiness, i didn't see many smiles in the time I was there (apart from the breakfast room lady), I didn't require any help from reception which i was pleased about as they do not appear very welcoming - asked for a safe key (hire) when i arrived and was told to see someone tomorrow about it (decided not to bother). I checked out the breakfast but decided not to eat there - the breakfast lady was very nice, polite and helpful but there was not much left so I decided against eating breakfast there as even when it would be full I didn't think there was much choice offered.
✓ • The staff are amiable and ready to help whenever especially Maria and Napal • Very individualised experience, the team meet the individual needs of the person • Breakfast is offered at 8.00am-10.00am which provides plenty of time for breakfast • The kindhearted catering staff, especially Maria, will be around for breakfast to cater to your needs. Going so far as to making more of a particular food if you find that they run out by the time you come down for breakfast. • Rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom has all the requirements of a hotel room • Air conditioning is amazing
✗ The only real gripe was the limited selection during breakfast. Although it is enough to get you through the morning, hotels in the same price range offer more options in comparison.
✓ the location
✓ Location was good, it was clean, the staff was friendly.
✗ In the best way I would give 2,5 stars. It's clean but an old hotel. Rooms with the balcony but the view is to the street what is not nice and attractive for spending time there. It's good if you just whant to sleep there and move on.
✓ Lovely staff, clean and comfortable
✗ Not enough blankets for February
