Amazing old building. Wonderful inside & out. Very friendly & helpful owners. Very nice double room with ensuite. Superb evening meal & breakfast. Good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

I was spending one night there as an accommodation during a hiking trip. I didn't know what to expect so deep in the forest but the house is really charming, the room is very clean, the facilities around the bar are comfy and there people are very friendly. Indeed the owner helped with planning my routes and even gave me a ride in the morning to skip the asphalt road and directly start from the natural trails - conclusion: highly recommended

The food was great. Very good breakfast. I also had dinner at the hotel both nights. They have an extensive menu. Every thing I ordered was very tasty. Superb trout and paté of venison.

The bed was a little hard.

Good looking building and environment. Room furnishing is good.

- THE MAIN DISADVANTAGE WAS THE WAY I WAS TREATED AT CHECK-IN. I booked and PAID for a room for two persons. At check-in a staff member asked me how many persons will be in the room i answered that only me. After my answer the other staff member removed a second pillow and a blanket as well as some other accessories from the room without asking me if i would like to have them or not. Due to this fact i did not order a breakfast, so can't comment on it. - I saw only 1 socket in the room. - Bathroom cleaning could be better. I saw hair as well as a spider-roommate.
