✓ Handily located to the train station, where parking was available only a short walk away. Also close to restaurants and the beach. The hotel had character.
✗ I felt sorry that the road-works right in front of the hotel had taken a long time to be completed. This made access difficult and tracked dirt into reception areas and corridors. The location will be perfect when this is all done!

Lovely relaxing stay in a decent, friendly, and centrally located hotel
✓ I had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel in July. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the hotel itself seemed well maintained and clean. The room I had was more than adequate for two people, with a comfortable bed and a clean - although somewhat old - bathroom. The hotel is located right next to the train station and a very short distance from the historic centre and the beach, making it an ideal choice for those that like to walk or don't have a car, especially for the price, compared to other hotels in the area.
✗ My one - very minor - complaint was the breakfast. It's a typical "continental" style breakfast, which is fine, but on my first day the croissants and pain au chocolate seemed like they were a day old and not fresh, and the fruit on offer was in little packets and again not freshly prepared. Everything else was fine though and for the price of the hotel, the location, and how nice the staff were, this really wasn't an issue for me.

Very comfortable stay
✓ For a small hotel you could not ask for more, rooms are a reasonable size and they provide a fridge,safe and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast is reasonably priced and has a small but good spread of food, would definitely recommend.

Excellent hotel
✓ Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, really close to the centre of St Jean, you can walk to everything, free parking at the parking at the rear of the station.
✗ There were lots of work’s going on on the roads and pavement to improve the area, even though it went on all night, and I was at the front of the hotel, it didn’t affect me, it will be finished very shortly, and did not affect my stay

✓ The location was great, right across the train station. The room was very clean, the beds comfy, and the staff very friendly.

I thought the hotel was the best choice for a short stay.
✓ The breakfast was wonderful with a varied selection. The location is perfect to explore the 'old town' , walk along the beach and to get back and forth to the train station. The staff at the reception are very helpful and helped me find everything I was looking for in town.
✗ The internet reception was spotty. It just needed to be rebooted after I brought the issue to the attention of the reception. It was not. a big problem since I was traveling for leisure.
