✓ Esther is a very welcoming host. We stayed in the the tented rooms which were comfortable. The location is calm and green. Overall a good stay worth the price.
✗ The breakfast was very basic with limited and small options. Our shower didn't work well (cold and small stream) but in the other tent it worked fine.
✓ Beautiful Setup with a very hands-on host! The Staff were very friendly and the little bar at the campsite made it unnecessary to even step out. Nice times in the swimming pool too and the host always communicates to know how far we were etc.
✓ such a lovely setting near to Morogoro town but out in nature. monkeys, birds. I took the bird walk and saw quite a variety of species. and it was very easy to get into town center on boda boda or taxi. Staff was lovely. It's a bit rustic but I loved that. but even with rustic good hot water and mosquito net so a good sleep. highly recommended.
✓ Great location for out of town getaway, felt like home
✗ no kitchen, for lunch and dinner you have to ho outside
✓ The best customer service I've ever received. The manager (sadly I forgot his name) and Ester were so friendly and we had very nice chats, I checked out little bit sick and Ester was kind enough to call me and ask me how I was doing and If I had arrived safe in Daresalaam. 100% recommend and will definitely go back again
✓ Fruit trees, nature healing place. Beautiful surroundings!
✗ Dogs tore our shoes an staffl/ owner (though out of town ) let us stay free for the cost of the shoes! Much appreciated! Beautiful place!
Public swimming is available from 2pm to 5pm. At all other times, the area is only available for people staying in our rooms

Hi Andrea, Thank you for contacting us. Both our luxury chalets and tented lodges are available for the dates mentioned. We're situated in Morogoro about 10-15min car ride from town center. Mikumi national park is about an hour and half to two from here. It is a minimum of 4hrs drive from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro-although seeing that you'll be arriving early in the morning you should be able to make better time than that as there won't me be much traffic in those early morning hours. My suggestion is you take a shuttle which costs $150 US one way to Morogoro. If you choose to leave by bus it won't be until 6am before the first buses leave Dar es Salaam for Morogoro. Fare for bus is 8,000/- TZS for one person plus the cost to take a taxi from the airport to the bus terminal. A bus leaves for Morogoro from the Ubungo bus terminal in Dar, about every hour from 6am to 7pm. A day game drive in Mikumi cost $200 each, that is $400 for two people. That includes pickup and drop off in Morogoro, park fees, game drive, breakfast and lunch. Let us know if there's anything else you need to know. All the best. Simbamwenni Team.
