Worth it!
✓ The property is very charming, way up in the foothills. It’s beautiful. Great breakfast, friendly staff and dog friendly. Fast WiFi and near hiking trails

Disappointing stay but beautiful location
✓ The balcony was big and we could sit out and enjoy the fantastic view of Meteora. We were at the top of the village so it was lovely and quiet. It was an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of town where there were lots of good places to eat and drink. The breakfast provided next door was buffet style with a good selection of items to suit most tastes and the staff at the other hotel were friendly and helpful.
✗ We never saw Elena during our 3 day stay which we found a very odd way to run a business. Especially as the toilet in our room blocked on the second day and we had to get help from the hotel next door to rectify it. We still never saw Elena even after this. Also I booked a twin room with view as advertised on Booking.com but we were told by Elena's daughter when we arrived that there were only doubles with views. This should be made clear during the booking process. These issues made our stay less enjoyable and for these reasons I can't recommend Elena's Guesthouse.

Hi the guest house is located in the old town of Kalambáka so there are no super markets very close, however there are plenty of mini markets nearby which stay open late at night
