the hostess gave us a lot of information and tips on where to go in the city (in Russian) she even walked with us to show us a local restaurant. very helpful and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. kitchen is well equipped. location is very central but quiet. the hostess even posted our postcards for us :)

the drain in the bathroom didn’t smell great. the sheets were synthetic (polyester)

Location is ideal, near town center, all kinds of shops and services and in a very nice district. This studio ( not a separate bedroom) is comfortable and OK for one person but some more dishes and pans would be great for 2 - and the owner already brought some of the requisites we asked for during our 10 nights in this studio, 2 persons, prior to this stay. Excellent WiFi but couldn’t change any program on TV which was set on an Armenian chain and no use for us then.

First of all, although we had exchanged messages thru booking. com about our early arrival in Yerevan by the night train for Tbilissi but also told her we would show up at her place at 8.30am only, as per the checking-time indicated on our confirmation, we waited for her under the rain until around 9am when she finally came after we had asked the neighboring travel agency to call her since we didn’t have WiFi. She omitted to mention or see that the boiler was unplugged and we had 3 days of cold water only before we found out what was the problem. After settling down, we noticed some plastic bag with personal things and shoes in the closet and… a garbage can under the sink with preservatives in it!! Suspicious if the quality if the cleaning and a bit disgusted we cleaned the whole studio, washed the complete bed ware and disinfected the bathroom. All this happened during our first stay of 10 nights from June 14 to 24, then for 2 persons according to my 1st reservation No 2445.313.427 which, without our consent ( communication was very difficult as she doesn’t’ speak one word of English and we don’t know Russian), SHE UNILATERALLY CANCELLED AND NOTIFIED AS NO-SHOW WHICH IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE! I booked thru many years thru booking. com, in many countries around the world and this is really the FIRST TIME this happened to me… and just because she doesn’t want “to pay a lot of money for commission to booking. com” as we later understood from her message in Russian on Viber…and I had filed for a 10% discount on this reservation … which will not apply now that she cancelled this first stay. And last but not least, she said for my second stay, alone this time, from June 23 to 27 that she had made a mistake giving the price on booking and finally charged me a MUCH HIGHER PRICE than what was confirmed by booking.com, something which again NEVER happened to me before. My friend and I considered this attitude very dishonest towards me and booking.
