This is my second time staying with Alaverdi guesthouse. Coming from China for business this hotel is like a hidden gem within the beautiful mountains. The hosts go beyond their way to make you feel at home and everything from room to food to mood was brilliant! Will be missing this place.

Absolutely perfect, very professional. Nice, modern, large room, clean and tidy. Excellent hosts. Speak English. They do care. Rich breakfast, fast internet. Comfortable bed. The whole house is in perfect condition. Private parking (behind the fence). Really nice. I was travelling from Gyumri to Meghri and back to Georgia. This was perhaps the best B&B on my trip in Armenia. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Our breakfast was ordered to our apartment. It was very good and delicious. We had plenty of room to use. Our host organized an excellent tour to us and we saw all famous monasteries and places in area.

Guesthouse in Alaverdi is not a good place if you have difficulties to move from place to other. There were stairs and the guesthouse was on the top of deep road. But everything else was exellent.

I loved it here!!! Possibly one of the best stays ever. I didn't expect it at all, considering the location in this remote little village. The owners are so kind, the room was way beyond comfortable! I had all my meals here and their food was delicious. I was going to stay just one night but liked it so much I prolonged. I can't recommend it enough, a true home away from home!!!

The room was beautiful, with a minimal but artistic design that was just brilliant. Everything worked. The host family are friendly and just superb. Breakfast was great and exactly on time. One day it was hot and I came back to find an electric fan waiting on the doorstep, without asking. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is up a big hill from the centre, but in alaverdi so are most hotels.

Comfy room (free upgrade) with nice simple decor. Thoughtful tea corner in the room with kettle, plates and utensils. Big table for work. Great mattress and pillows. Very good communication. Hope to come back soon!

how far is this place from Yerevan airport? and how get there from the airport

It is 177 kilometers from Yerevan Zvartnots Airport to our house. First you need to come by bus to the Kilikia bus station and then transfer to the Alaverdi minibus.
