Wonderful views of English Harbour and only a short (steep) walk to the beach with great swimming and a fun beach bar. Well equipped, clean & airy property with good mosquito screening and very comfortable bed.

Shonnie and Michael are lovely, lovely hosts and also give great advice/assistance for anything you might need on the Island. The apartment itself is in a stunning location.

For more than a couple of people the extra bed is a sofa bed in the main living space which might not suit everyone.

Hi, please can you advise how many restaurants/cafes are in walking distance, happy for that to be 20 min + walk as long as it is a clear pathway. Thanks.

There are numerous high quality restaurants, cafes, and bars in English and Falmouth Harbours which are a seven minute drive from Galleon Beach. Taxis are readily available and it costs US $10 one way. I do not advise walking to Falmouth Harbour.

Hi, Is your villa certified government approved for a stay in Feb 2021?

Yes, we were inspected by the Ministry of Health three weeks ago and now have our “ certificate”.

When is the best time to visit your property for the perfect beach holiday?

November through March is pretty much perfect weather with almost no rain and the best temperatures for the beach and for sleeping.

hello, we luv your place, view & ability to do yoga as well! :) we are. hope to find a place that has outdoor activities for us and our 12 and 16 yo boys. can you elaborate on this... any rock climbing that you are aware of, perhaps? what are the beds/bedrooms like in villas? Thnx, Melani & Paul

English Harbour is a national park. There are several hiking trails with stunning views of the ocean that start here at Galleon Beach. Kite surfing, sailing and scuba lessons are available in this area. Snorkeling with or w/o a jet scooter is great.

Hi, thanks for previous answer. We’re reviewing best location. For car hire - we noted comment about 4x4 for parking at villa. Is that essential?

We have ample parking for any type of car. If you have a SUV you can use our driveway which is very short and steep. Guests find it not worth the trouble, in fact none of our guests have used it for several years. We use our car to bring the bags up.

Our son is doing the Talisker challenge and we are reserving the week he should come in on rowing boat. Would he be allowed to stay with us on sofa bed?

Hi, Of course he is welcome. I do not charge for additional guests. We look forward to watching him cross the finish line from Blue Moon!

We have children aged 16 and 14, is the sofa bed suitable - just checking there isn't a second bedroom in the villas? Many thanks

Hi, The sofa bed is fine for one teenager. The second one can sleep on an aero bed but then the living room is pretty crowded. With children of that age I recommend taking both villas and letting the children have their own villa.

Hi, we want to book, when do you take payment from our card please

Hi, I require a deposit of 50% at the time of booking with the balance due sixty (60) days prior to arrival. That being said, I have never not returned a deposit. I have found that travelers don’t cancel a trip without a good reason.
