✓ It's such a special place, right next to the spectacular Cocora Valley. The cabinet has everything you need, even a little gas fireplace to warm up :) Breakfast is great too!

✓ Even thought the location at night was kind of confusing. Well that’s what you have to expect cause is not a hotel so I was good about it. The view😍 and at night you can see the Milky Way! The place was really confortable.
✗ The place has no potable water. They don’t tell you to bring your own, so you can purchase it there! Nice strategy !

✗ We got robbed in this cottage by a person who is working there. It happened 2 nights in a row. After the 1st night, we were missing a lot of money. We arrived at the place at 2 AM (in the night), and the only person who saw us was the guy who opened the cottage for us/working there. The next day, before going to sleep (at 11 PM), we counted how much money we have. In the morning, all the money was gone. We kept the money in the same bedroom where we were sleeping. I do not recommend!!!!!

✗ it is extremely rustic. the walls of the cabin do not meet so big bugs were flying in after dark so we had to keep the lights off. the showers were not hot. the beds were comfortable but the rest of the seating was plastic outdoor chairs. you were basically outdoors in the common room. the view was very nice if you looked a certain way, otherwise you are looking at large fish tanks for the fish farm. there were people who were very loud until 10 at night, which usually doesn’t bother me since it’s early, but since you can’t hang out in the main room because of the bugs and the uncomfortable chairs, then you wanna go to sleep early.
✓ The chalet is located at the beginning of Valle del Cocora. In this way, you can start hiking very early and there is the possibility to walk until the night.
✗ The chalet had not kitchen, just a toaster and the products on the fridge or minibar were totally frozen. The hotel has service just until 5:00pm, there is not a possibility to buy anything around or close to the place. The breakfast starts at 8:30am, very late if you want to walk or ride before the check out. It seemed that the place was not cleaned properly, dust everywhere and the beds and toilets were full of hairs. No body told me how to use the small heater, and the living room is not totally sealed, a lot of spaces between the wooden boards. It has been, for the price, the worst experience in a hotel around Salento.
