✓ - ambiente was good, especially pool area - but pool colder than sea - service was good, reacted flexible on my health issues - bathroom very good design - breakfast - tennis trainer / location

✗ - rc for tv not working - matrace minor quality - dinner: some meals/fish very dry - restaurant area to loud - installation of noice reduction elements (flowers, walls, etc) could help - beach somehow separated from hotel not really private

✓ I booked this room for my dad and I was a little scared, because this was for the first time him beeing alone on vacation and he is also currently using crutches after the injury. But from the moment we came to the hotel, I knew I've made the right decision to book this hotel. The personel was so friendly, they helped my dad all the time, he said to me every day "I feel like a king here". The room was nice, the hotel was clean, food was great, personel is really on TOP level. Not just that my dad wants to go back, I'm sure that I will book a vacation for me in this hotel for sure.

✓ inside pool was warm and nice Welness centre was also nice and clean. outside pool was very cold becasue of the season, but it would be nice to heatup water if they spend energy to use pumps for water circulation, so someone could use it.

✗ if you are hungry after 23:00 you can't find food in that area, it would be good to have some sandwiches or toast options from the bar.

✓ Breakfast, dinner and wellness were excellent. Great choice of everything.

✗ I only prefer coffee from the coffee machine rather than spilt from a pot.

Not a 5 stars hotel

✓ Position is probably one of the only positive aspects of this hotel

✗ This is not a 5 stars hotel. Hotel staff was un-professional and un-prepared. I made a reservation for a friend who doesn't speak croat nor english. The name of the guest it was clearly indicated in the reservation. At his arrival they denied the check-in because the reservation (according to the receptionist) was under a different name, which was wrong and I had written already a week before to check better the whole reservation. I had to stay on the phone and explain to check better...A terrible start! Meals were just decents, nothing special. The room had a leak in the bathroom, water on the floor and it was never fixed, although the cleaning service could clearly see that. A bathtoom with hottub instead of shower is really not a good service

Hoping to return - but with better weather next time!

✓ The huge mature trees all around the property are gorgeous, and the gardens are well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful, and switch effortlessly among many different languages. The facility was bigger than we expected, but there are opportunities - at least when the weather cooperates - to find more private smaller spaces to relax. The seafood dinner we had at the hotel's Kasa Taverna restaurant was better than the one we had at a fish place in the Umag old town. It's helpful to be able to park (nearly free at one Euro per day) directly adjacent to the hotel.

✗ The breakfast buffet is great, but the breakfast dining room itself is huge and feels a bit like a mess hall/cantine.
