✓ The place was clean and comfortable. The location was a little way off track, our room did not have a direct view of the river from the balcony, but more of a side view, overall I was happy with the hotel. Our airport pickup was 40mins late.

✓ Overlooks the Ganges Clean spaciousness bedrooms and bathrooms (we had family room ,2 bedrooms on the top floor) Basic but good food(we had evening meal and breakfast)aircon in the first bedroom.

✗ At the time the 15 minute walk down a labyrinth of narrow alleyways to the hotel.We used the hotel taxi service from the airport and we’re met by hotel staff,who carried our cases.

Beautiful home turned into a hotel with a central courtyard and lots of character. It is located on the Manasarovar Ghat

✓ Bed was clean. Location is good, few minutes walking from main gats. Staff was polite

✗ I booked a room sold as ganges view but as it was on the ground floor it was not so. Did not try the restaurant as if you get there after ganga arti it is already too late gor dinner. Toilet should be improved and cleaner. Ground floor rooms very noisy at night, you need earplugs. The tours they offer are overly expensive. The guide wanted to charge me 5000 rupees for a 3 hours walking tour of city and temples. I got one of 4 hours plus ganga arti on trip advisor for 1600....

Decent place on the Ganges

✓ This place is right on the Ganges (well, 100m from the water). Somehow, there were no mosquitos in my room the entire time. The chef was a friendly and helpful guy who helped me when I was ill. Food was quite nice, I enjoyed the masala chai every morning.

✗ As other people have mentioned, they try to sell you tours. I was quoted 30 EUR for a trip to Sarnath with a guide, but instead took a tuk tuk for 800 INR without a guide (I didn't want a guide). The hotel is hard to find form the main road as there are a lot of small alleyways. My advice is to just get to the river and walk along that until you see the hotel at the top of the ghat.
