Nice accommodation

✓ Owner was friendly. Location is near miyanoura port (15 mins walk). Bus stop, Supermarket and Atm are at walking distance. Parking space in front of the guest house. Laundry machine is available and free to use. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets downstairs in the annex building, and a kitchen (we were not able to turn on the gas stove though) Room size can accommodate 4 people.

✓ The room is spacious and clean.

✗ Our room was in the annex of the guest house and right next to a pachinko place. The house is not soundproof and you can hear the sounds of pachinko in the room, which was a bit annoying for us. But at least only until about 9 pm.

Beware room no. 3

✓ Washing was free and the dryers were pretty efficient (100Yen/10min).

✗ The room was in between the kitchen and a pachinko place. So if you intend to stay in the room don't plan on having any quiet time. Furthermore the street lamp illuminated the room throughout the night. The common space was in a different building and the table there was divided by covid-seperators. I couldn't find the sofas shown in the picture.

Lovely homestay feel with privacy

✓ staffs are friendly, even they could only speak Japanese. place is super clean and tidy. 10 mins walk to supermarket. quiet neighbourhood.

✗ 10-15 mins walk from ferry terminal but 1 min walk to the bus station.

Friendly and well located

✓ The staff was extremely friendly and was a pleasure to talk with anytime we interacted. The place has two separate buildings and we were in the second one. It was nice to have more sinks, showers and toilets available. We were in one of the tatami rooms and it was very big and comfortable. The entrance to Shiratani ravine is only about 30 minutes away, with a supermarket on the way, and there are several restaurants around.

✗ When we arrived, there was a bit of confusion; it seems like not all the staff if familiar with the online reservations. During our stay, some other guests tried to get into our room (thinking it was a shower), and were very loud. Also, there are only 6 parking spots, so we decided to get back earlier at night so we would have a space. Lastly, there isn't much space in the kitchen to eat.

Exceptional

✓ The owner of the establishment was very helpful. We originally stayed here due to cancellation of all local ferry services off the Island. The owner gave us information upon check in and also came to our room later in the afternoon to inform us of possible options regarding the ferry for the next day. Room was spacious and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Great locations. Facilities were clean.

✓ Very helpful and friendly staff! Stayed in a regular bedroom the first two nights that was very cozy. The kitchen is really well equipped. Free washing machine!

✗ The whole place could use a deep cleaning and some renovations but nothing too major. The japanese room I stayed in on my last night was fine, but the pillow was terrible and the walls insanely thin.
