Unsafe - dirty and noisy - AVOID!
✓ AVOID - AVOID at all costs.
✗ AVOID - stay away from this property! The front desk manager didn't have appropriate behaviors. First mentioning that I was traveling alone, then I was pretty followed by wanting a Kiss. No Kidding... he actually repeated 3 times that he wanted a kiss and got up to stand behind the counter. Obviously, I declined and asked for my bedroom key. I asked if he could book a taxi and he replied he can...but I need to give 10.10.10. Then he explained that I needed to give him 10 stars comments on the rsvn platform. He makes me feel so unsafe. I slept with a chair in front of the door and double check the window doors. Last, don't get me started on the cleanliness, the shower curtain was dirty and moldy, the room smelled gross, and the walls between each room are made of paper... then you can hear a plane landing above your head (no isolation despite being near the airport).

✓ The Alkyonides Hotel is very close to the airport, so it was great for an early morning flight. The person in Reception scheduled a taxi for us the night before which was very punctual the next morning. The room was clean. Water was hot for showering. Room was not tiny. It was quiet overnight once the flights were done for the day at the airport. Our room had a balcony with furniture overlooking an interior courtyard. There were restaurants nearby. It was a good value and a decent airport hotel. I am pretty sure that the hotel offers breakfast for purchase, but I left too early for that resource to be used.
✗ It was neither hot nor cold the night I stayed, so I did not need heat or AC. There were extra blankets available in the room, which I did not need. I do think there was an extra charge if one wanted to use heat or AC, but I'm not positive about that.

✓ The location is perfect: 3 minutes walk from the sea, 3 minutes walk from the center. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were sparking clean.
