Second time, and now looking forward to the third one!

✓ This is the second time we stayed in Guillaumet and, same as the first time, we had a great time. Now we had the chance to meet Elizabeth and Angel in person, and to meet again with Rocio, who was our host one year ago. All of them are so warm and welcoming people, and really deliver that extra mile, that makes you feel like you are at home away from home. We are already planning to come back a third time, sooner than later, to keep walking and trekking this beautiful town and its surroundings. Kudos to the team, and thank you for all!

Great hosts, great location, good apartments in need of repairs/fixing up.

✓ I enjoyed how breakfast was delivered the night before. It helped give options for breakfast the next day on our own timing.

✗ The two apartments we used (our friends were in a separate one) were clearly showing signs of wear. I realize we were staying towards the end of the Argentine summer, so it makes sense that the properties may need some fixing up. Specifically, in apartment 1, sinks were loose and there was a metal drain cover with sharp edges in the bathroom that was only hanging on by one screw-not super safe for my young children. In apartment 3, the refrigerator seemed to be failing and was defrosting/leaking water during our 4 nights in El Chalten.

✓ amazing set up & super clean with lots of room in the bedroom. owner was amazing - gave us some great recommendations & advice as well as letting us leave our bags there overnight while we camped at Fitzroy. good location as 10 min walk from bus station & very close to start of Laguna torre trail. would recommend !
