✓ Well,this is a good place for us who are considered oldfashioned in many ways. :) Positives are - firstly hotel s personnel,they were all kind and polite,ready to help about anything. Special thanks to a young receptionist Brane,he did long hours for days(double shifts) and it did not show in his superb attitude towards guests,he ll be a great top manager one day surely.Thank you. Also,hotel provides free pick up and return to Ubli port,which is nice. Breakfast is simply superb,rooms are spacey,nice colours and many have little balconies.Perfect position,a bit secluded.

✗ Well,noone is perfect,so here we go, wi-fi issue,it should be easy to fix and provide it to all rooms,it better be done and soon,please. Ok,someone might think why on earth we need wi-fi when on holidays,but,Lastovo is not one deserted island for that sort of Robinson Crusoe type of holidays.:) Also,carpets must be changed,i am sure it will be done before next summer. Breakfast was superb as i have mentioned,but dinner can and should improve,in quality and quantity.Thats all,no more minuses. :)

Perfection and peace.

✓ Staff is great, hotel is clean, other guests are polite and quiet. Very central location of the northwest part of Island of Lastovo. View from room is amazing. It is around 10 minutes of cycling to ferry port in Ubli and also close to place Lastovo by very good almost, new road. Sea in front of hotel is clean and the most beautiful beach on island is in 10 minutes of cycling. Breakfast is buffet and very tasteful. Staff is helpful and multilingual, definitely a huge recommendation to visit and stay at this place.

If this is your only option to stay in Lastovo, I'd not miss it!

✓ The breakfast and the location are very good. Free shuttle service from and to the ferry was also excellent. Hotel is accepting credit card which was exception in the area. Room was clean and cute. AC saved my days. Little fridge and tv also handy. You could reserve set dinner, either fish or meat, from the reception earlier every day with the cost of 90 kn. You have to ask about it, as they didn't really advertise it. There was a local buss which one can take to Lastovo town with 20 kn one way. It won't go very frequently though.

✗ As in many reviews the floor carpet in the common areas are old and full of stains. My bathroom ventilator was very loud and probably broken, also the shower door didn't totally close. The evening receptionists was insecure and started all the answers with "I don't know but...". He was not rude though as some of the waiters. I asked to get fruit and omelette as my breakfast when leaving with the early morning catamaran but got ham and cheese baguette with two yoghurts. But hey, at least got something! The diving center only accepts cash and closest ATM is in the ferry port. However after reading all the bad reviews I expected much worse. My stay was still very pleasant.

Worst Hotel Experience in My 15 Years on Booking

✓ The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It is one of the best spots on the island, in Pasadur. There's a moderately crowded beach in front of the hotel with a shop where you can rent kayaks.

✗ Ugh, this is going to be a long list: there were wasps nests everywhere. In front of the rooms. At the restaurant. The guests where swarmed by 15-20 wasps at a time at each table every day during breakfast during our 14-day stay. The hotel carpet and the room carpet was stained and worn and has not been chemically cleaned or renewed in decades. The shower had deep brown stains from years of of not being thoroughly cleaned. The drains did not work and the water came back through the drain or only trickled down very slowly. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The walls desperately needed a repaint. The fridge was yellow and smelled of old parmesan. The air conditioning filter was probably never replaced as it caused both me and my friends allergies. The stuff was overwhelmed and unhappy. Worst of all, after a stormy night, my room was completely flooded and I had to reallocate, as well as all the residents of the top floor. The balcony was tiny, I was unable to even stretch my feet on it.
