The facilities are excellent and the food topped off by excellent stall who were always happy together extra mile

The key question: No, I wouldn't go there again.

✓ Amazing structure on a very big ground (huge!) – certainly ideal for a big gathering, like a wedding. Because of the weather (and only one night stay) we couldn’t explore it; but the impression was quite impressive.

✗ It is located a bit far from the lake or the next city. Hence, you kind of rely on the hotel's restaurant - and that's the biggest disappointment. For Italian standard rather pricey with at max mediocre quality. I can live with higher than normal costs – but, poor food in Italy – why? And then, the restaurant staff was quite overwhelmed with their tasks – especially one gentleman who really didn’t like his job (and our group).

Stunning hotel and excellent staff

✓ The property was absolutely beautiful especially the complimentary tour of the castle. Dinner in both restaurants was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was really lovely. We will definitely return.

✗ One slight problem was the limited number of sunbeds at the pool. The pool attendant was very helpful to try to get us a sun bed but we had to wait for people to leave on both days of our stay.

✗ elevator was nonfunctional 3 of our 4 day stay. one of the room’s shower had a faulty drain that caused the bathroom floor to get wet. it was reported the first day and every day following but never repaired.
