Pleasant

✓ The location is great, hotel is clean, ski lockers were heated nicely. Ok value for money.

✗ The breakfast was average, even below. Rooms are rather small. The sound isolation is catastrophic, you can hear even low voices in the neighboring room.

✓ the room was amazing and the bathroom too, the close proximity to the main chair lifts, all the staff from receptionists to waiters and the food at the restaurant was excellent

Other than this one kitchen staff member, the rest of the stay was generally pleasant.

✗ Particular Kitchen staff was a bit rude and did not speak any English. While not expected in remote resorts, this had a considerable number of English speaking clients, and it was the kitchen staff's job to receive orders for preparing eggs for breakfast. At one point after preparing wrong dish, the staff member threw out wrong dish and while beating eggs for my corrected omelet stepped out of sight into the kitchen... I was concerned that he may have spit into my eggs!? Not very professional!

Lovely hotel - little bit noisy

✓ walking distance from ski hire, ski lifts, shops and restaurants, great showers, modern rooms, lovely choice of breakfasts, friendly staff, good ski locker room

✗ Woken up most nights by drunken people singing in the streets until about 5am in the morning. Poor sound insulation

✗ Street noise was very loud in the rooms. Very poor sound insulation. Our group were woken up in the early hours by revellers coming home every night

Exceptional

✓ Wow where do I start... the manageress is so nice and finds the time to remember your name and ask how you are. The chef Daniel is very passionate about his job and always happy to cook something nice for you however you like it. The waitresses are also super friendly and accommodating. And to top it off the hotel is a Stones throw away from the ski slopes. I will be back 😊
