Very good

✓ - beach access - plenty of bathrooms - very clean - close to restaurant, supermarkets and bus stop - always plenty of soap, paper towels and zoilet paper

✗ - no wifi in the dorm room - no indivudual light next to the beds with curtains

Good hostel in a "meh" destination

✓ It's great to chill by the pool and in front of the beach. If you like surfing and party, this is your destination.

✗ Staff were ok, but I expected they were friendlier compared to other Selinas.

✓ Nice place, great location right on beach, clean and good pool, many people wven in low season. Good kitchen, good bar area.

✗ However the bathrooms leave a little to be desired, shower doors have issues, upstsirs is pretty hot until you get into room with a/c. Roof above my bed started leaking after heavy rain and dripped on the edge of my mattress. Also hardly any activity in evenings, you’ll have to go off the property.

✓ Best hostel in Jaco, good location and vibe. Good pool, had a room with curtains and perfect a/c.

✗ However, the roof was leaking one evening after a hard rain, in the bathrooms and on the very edge of my bed. Had to use a towel.

Nice time

✓ The staff were very friendly and kind. I arrived early, and they let me keep my bags there and wait there until check in time. When I checked out, I left my bag there while I went to go surfing for a few hours, then came back and it was nice to have somewhere to rinse off after. They let you come and go from the property until 6pm, even after you've checked out, which was super convenient. It's right on the beach, so a great location, especially if you're hoping to surf and hang out on the beach. Good kitchen with lots of appliances. Rooms are nice and cool. Privacy curtains for the dorms.

✗ Very little room to keep your food in the fridge. The community bathrooms for the dorms tend to be a little dirty, but people are coming in from off the beach, so it makes sense I guess...
