Jianshe Inn

Highly recommend this place.

✓ This accommodation is located very close to the North gate which is very easy to access from the main road. There’s also local tricycle service to deliver the luggages to this place( not free). The other entrance leads you the old town, very easy to find restaurants and shops. The place is very clean, cosy and nicely decorated. The accommodation staff was very helpful about providing information and and helping us to book a tour, rent a car. We had very good experience at Jianshe Inn.

✓ It's a two story compound with 4 rooms upstairs with view and bathroom in rooms, and 3 rooms downstairs with share kitchen. Nice view, quite very new, very good location 2 minutes walk to restaurants and walking street, 3 minutes walk to parkin lot.

✗ If rain, the coner room upstair one of the windows leak need to be fix other than that are great place to stay.

✓ Location - Easy walk to Lijiang old town, many restaurants nearby Room - Big and clean. Good view of the old town from upstairs Manager XiaoXue was very helpful from the days I booked the room. She helped to book a van at a reasonable prize for our outing to Snow Mountain area and to ShangriLa. During our 4 nights stay, she helped us in changing flight and hotel bookings in other locations as we were not able to use google and yahoo email in China. She was efficient, helpful and friendly.

✓ The owner is very helpful and very good communication, helping contact taxi and car rental. In addition she give good advise for good restaurants. This hotel has washing machine which is good for us and people who have long travel.

Exceptional

✓ Fantastic property in Lijiang's old town. Great design (very warm and cozy feel), great location (central, but in a side alley and hence very quiet), and great service (very kind and supportive). It's already the second time I came here and I will definitely come again if I'm in Lijiang.

✓ location is good inside the old town in a relatively quiet zone breakfast is not provided - the places in the old town do not open before 8 rooms are large with modern furnishings there is a nice sun terrace staff are friendly and helpful

✗ there is a movement - activated loudspeaker outside my room continuously blaring "dear tourist-friends". Someone needs to make use of wirecutters. Who would allow this to be installed? Smoking allowed everywhere
