Very nice.

✗ Bed was small and too soft. Wardrobe was old.

We will be returning! Great set up!

✓ The location was perfect as we were attending a festival at Croydon Recreation Ground. Easy to find the tube station as one day we went into London. The guy who is on at night was fab! There is a seating area where you can help yourself to snacks, tea, coffee, juice all day and ge kept it open for me and my friend to chill after we returned from our festival. He even shared his food with us which his mum had made for him. Traditional Indian food .....yummy!! We are definitely going back next year and will have a one bedroom apartment for that extra space Great little gym and others staying there were really friendly. No noise at night and had 3 nights sleep, beds comfortable. Good shower. Very clean communal areas and always smelt nice and fresh.

✗ We parked at the front of the building as my car was to wide to get down the small entrance to the car park. It was safe as we stayed 3 nights. The rooms in the summer months definitely need air conditioning as the windows are small and did not give us enough ventilation. Air Con is available in the communal areas and the fans whilst very good was just circulated the hot air. (But the temperature was high this weekend) They didn't change our towels on the 3 nights we stayed there and with the heat I would have thought they would. Not sure how often they change them The wall in the bedroom was very dusty so I do think whilst they clean the attention to detail is sometimes missed.

Not a bad place to stay in Croydon, good facilities and friendly staff

✓ The guy at the reception was great, super helpful allowed me to choose my room. Was really help at showing me around and was friendly every time we spoke. Good wifi, I was able to work and watch films without issue. Shower was good, soaps and shower gel provided. The free breakfast was basic but appreciated. Some fruit and smoothies were great.

✗ The Mattress was awful! A crazy soft sprung mattress that was not great at all. The room was also insanely hot although there is AC in the hallways of the buildings there wasn't a unit in the room. They did provide a very large fan which was great for cooling down the day. but not something you could sleep with all night. When I removed the Duvet to just use the sheet I noticed the Duvet was badly stained also. It was a fairly warm day, and it's not really the host's fault, as we do live in the UK and it is very rarely that warm. Although there is ample parking the car park to the rear is accessed by a very narrow alley. I had to fold in my wing mirror to get through. But not something for poor/ nervous drivers.

Great location with plenty nearby.

✗ Breakfast wasn't great for me. It could be personal but I don't like long life milk and if breakfast is mainly cereal, there should be fresh milk available. The pastries were not nice, the ones I add to kids snack not a nice breakfast.

Lovely old building, short walk to Tesco and about a 15 minute walk to the train station.

✓ The whole premises is kept very clean and vacuumed everyday. When you use the Do not disturb sign it is respected. Polite and helpful management and staff. Quiet on week nights. It was great having breakfast available all day long.

✗ My room had the sun on the windows from sunrise which made the room very hot even when overcast and 18 degrees with no air-conditioning just a medium floor fan. It was hard to get air flow into the room. Be prepared for lots of stairs in the Caroco building.

Basic and clean rooms with lovely staff

✓ Extremely clean. Really lovely staff who communicated really well. Friendly and helpful. Help yourself breakfast room with good options. Good facilities in the room. Great selection of books too!

✗ The mattress was a bit thin and the pillows weren’t the comfiest. But absolutely fine for a one or two night stay.
