Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Savannah Gateway, GA

The property needs to do some upgrades and a little more cleanliness

✗ the bathroom cleanliness and squeaky bed

great price, great staff, but the hotel itself was not that great.

✓ the staff were very nice and check in/ check out was very fast

✗ The bathroom was dirty, the shower head has lime build up on it and the shower itself had brown streaks. The corners of the bathroom also had black stuff on it as well. The room itself was also not that clean and my sheets had spots on them. Lastly, the sound transfer between the rooms above and the hallway into our room was horrible.

Short?

✓ The Coffee was good. There were 0 people there and the Proprietor was wiping up..I had a bagel. No cream cheese available..I was peeved because all was just fine except the TV sound was bad and the audio wasn't syncing with the Lip Action. Annoying. But then as I turned in about 12a...next thing I'm hearing doors opening and shutting loudly. The Clerk at the time put someone right next to me..adjoining room??? Well, that woman talked for over an hour til I called the front desk.. I thought the loud voice plus someone on a speaker talking back making it more annoying, but it was in the next room.! OMG Who does that..she quieted down long enough and then again talking loud while it's still way early morning..I knocked on my door and asked her to Talk Softer Please .. it was a big disappointment especially since the room was almost clean enough and had no bad odors. I really appreciated that..I got a nice shower and the day clerk Carmen gave me a 15% discount for inconvenience.That was very nice of her to acknowledge. There was alot of water from kids running amuck and yelling in the halls.. They simmered down tho.People are inconsiderate and or just don't think. PROPRIETOR did apologize but like what could she really do? It's not like the place was packed..anyway..Coffee machine didn't work either..

✓ I like the location. The lady who checked me in was friendly. I liked the ease of checking in.

✗ The bed squeaked every time I moved even a little and there was hair (not my hair) on the pillow. The toilet looked old and had old stains on the bowl. The shower looked old and there was also a ring around the tub. It was probably clean, but just old and I wasn't just completely comfortable showering. You could also hear everything in the hallway very clearly. Whenever some got on/off the elevator, I could hear everything.

✗ AC and refrigerator were extremely loud and I had to turn them off , but then it became too hot and my food got bad.

the stay was ok i just expect more from this company name

✗ the property needs a lot of cosmetic work door to the pool was jam it need some paint in areas

Probably value for money , with restaurants nearby, but don’t think we will return.

✗ maintenance issues and moldy coffee pot which nobody was concerned about.
