✓ staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful and dinner was good
✗ Check-in was rushed -No Buffet for breakfast
✓ I had paid for breakfast to be included via booking website and on arrival found it was not included. The room we were provided was not what i requested/paid for. Again, all issues via 3rd party booking is what I was told. Otherwise the staff were nice and everything was clean, however the creature comforts (things that make travel less stressful) were lacking.
✗ Things were lacking (soap, cups, coffee in the rooms) and were overpriced if you had to acquire them from the hotel.
✓ Nice and new facilities, rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean.
✗ Room service menu is quite limited.
✗ Bathroom fans in both our rooms were not working
✓ The star is amazing and faculties are well maintained
✗ N/A
✓ I was there for the NCLEX-RN exam and it was quiet enough for me to be able to study last night
✗ No tim hortons found near . Went for a short drive and and there was construction on a few streets. I got discourage trying to find my way around and went back to the hotel.
✓ Comfy mattress
✗ My credit card was charged twice the amount of my room and the attendant said it was in case there were damages and it was standard policy . I have never had that happen before . I am wondering if it was because they knew I was attending a gala event but also celebrating my 60th birthday . Perhaps they thought I would party in my room which I did not and would not. I was travelling alone It is very presumptuous to assume your guests will damage the room and hold their credit card hostage in case they do . I was unable to use my card during the gala event for other purchases because they ate up the remaining balance I had . It took three business days and a weekend have it reversed . I am very upset by this . It makes me feel like the Marriott has little faith or respect for it’s guests
✓ Didn't partake of the breakfast. Had to hit the road early.
✗ Missed the recently removed pork tenderloin from the dinner menu. That was a winner.
