Maryborough Hotel & Spa

Staff lovely, some lovely features in the hotel, beautiful building, needs update on rooms and improvements in bar food.

✓ Staff friendly, beautiful buildings and well kept grounds. A bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. Good quality products in bathroom.Bed comfy.

✗ Bar food poor sadly. Room needs updating, sofa bed worn on outside, bathroom.

✗ Only small issue, requested twin room and double bed in room and due to a medical issue needed to rest on arrival.

✗ Rooms felt dated and the food in the restaurant was over priced given the quality. There was also a wedding every night of our stay which took away from the experience as it was quite loud at times

✗ Bedrooms were a little dated, with no air con, but were still clean and comfortable.

✓ All good, short stay as late arrival and early departure so unfortunately i did not have the opportunity to use the restaurant or SPA facilities.

✓ Breakfast was okay. Could do with some lights in the area where cereals & juices were.

✗ Just a few suggestions, some staff could do with going on a customer service training course!! Remove cocktails from your bar menu if it's a lot of hassle having staff to make these, with not enough staff on when a lot of guests looking to get served for last orders at end of night. Bedroom had no air conditioning, it was like walking into a sauna, just a plug in one that made too much noise to be left on at night. Also, some type of dresser would be handy rather than trying to do hair & make up over a sink.
