✓ Great location. Good beds. Helpful staff. Convenient parking.

✗ The shower was tepid at best, bordering on cold. For $250 a night I expect hot water.

Poorly maintained hotel.

✗ Terrible maintenance. Half the elevators were broken. Multiple bathrooms out for the 3 days we were there. Pool was closed the entire time. Some of the main entrance doors were broken the entire time. For the money, I'd expect basic maintenance but clearly it's not a concern.

Best place to stay in Old Trois-Rivières.

✓ The room was very quiet, clean and comfy. The shower worked really well and the shampoo/body wash provided seemed of comparably good quality. Nice view from the room. Big windows, 9th floor. Enjoyed the TV. Comfy bed.

✗ Only thing that bothered me was the price. I didn't expect to pay 300$ a night for a hotel in that location at this time of the year. For 300, even though I really liked my stay, the next time I'm in town I'll probably rent somewhere else. It just makes renting from that particular hotel just to stay a night feel unreasonable. Given the neighboring market, 220-250 is a price I would pay again even if I'm only going to make very short use of the place.
