Situated in Woolgoolga, 400 metres from Woolgoolga Beach, Woopi Backpackers features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar.

✓ Best hostel we have stayed at!
✗ Only workers(they were Nice)
✓ A hostel that provides the relative needs for a backpacker. Whilst this is predominantly more of a long term hostel, it provided what was needed with a decent sized kitchen and common space and bathrooms. Cabin style beds were really nice providing that extra privacy. Location was based in the small town of Woolgoolga right by the beach, a sandy beach. Being a long term hostel expect to be with people who have been there long term, and are apart of formed friendship groups, whilst not the most stereotypically social hostel with events running, due to this, everyone was polite and friendly enough.
✗ Bathrooms could have been a little more cleaner.
✓ The staff was great and helpful, the facilities were good enough and the vibe of the place was great.
✗ The hostel was not clean enough, the toilets and showers were wet and dirty.
✓ Private room, great space and comfy. Great feel to the place. Friendly
✗ Limited range of wifi - trying to sort out travels in shared space made concentration difficult.
✓ All.good
✗ :)
✓ great location, well design and decoration, luggage room, pick-up and drop-off service from coach station, train station and airport, responsive and supportive staff either online or in person.
✗ wifi signal does not cover my room.
✓ Really friendly and helpful staff and it seems very well run and organised. Seemed like a very social hostel. Bathrooms and showers sufficient.
✗ The bed matress was awful - i could feel the springs like they were barbed wire. It wasnt wasn't comfortable sleep. It's really an international backpackers hostel for farmers who have been there for months. I only stayed one night so it was good value for money However the doors to the room were never closed and in the morning around 5am everyone was so loud around the hostel. Residents should be asked to have conversation on the phone outside the room as one person was on the phone from 11pm for two hours while I was trying to sleep. Obviously thisnisnt the hostels issue, I just thought it was quite inconsiderate. Kitchen was always busy and looked like like needed a deep clean. No locked storage in rooms to secure personal belongings, only shelving.
✓ the people really make that place, there is a box in the kitchen for every bed, so you have some space for your things
If we have availability yes, but you need to book direct with us.
Technically yes, three people can sleep in a private room (it is a queen bed with a king single upper bunk). However the rooms are NOT large, so space is very limited with three people's luggage and can make it uncomfortable.
If you are booking a female only dorm you must be female to stay there, if you are not and you arrive you will not have a bed. If there are no more room types available it is because we are full.
Unfortunately we don't have any private rooms available for these dates. Yes a quadruple room is shared (unless you book and pay for all 4 beds).
Given the shared nature of our accommodation and pod style bunks, it is more comfortable for ages 18-35. Anyone outside of this age bracket we recommend to book a private room.
Hello No twin rooms are our private rooms. You will have the room to yourself.
Yes we can organise a late check in with the on site manager. Please just make a note with your booking.
Hi there, do you mean 12pm or 12am? Check in is from 2pm, if you arrive earlier, we can store your luggage however you may not be able to enter the room until 2.
Reception closes at 8pm, however if a later check is required arrangements can be made with staff.
No. There are no restrictions currently in place for places of accommodation. We are operating at full capacity.
