The staff were absolutely lovely. They made you feel very welcome. The breakfast is just right, plenty of choice and variety. The bonus with this hotel is they have a small spa - swimming pool , jacuzzi and sauna - great for post skiing relaxation. There is a small charge of €10 for this but well worth it. Also they have an arrangement with the ski storage place at the gondola so that you can leave your gear there. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and a cozy bar if you don't fancy going out.

Our room was very comfortable with the welcome small molten brown toiletries which were lovely - breakfast was lovely each day - perfect for us with ample choice of whatever we wanted - it was lovely - the reception staff were very helpful as were the staff in the restaurant

Maybe some instructions on how to use the coffee machine in the breakfast room as that was a bit trial and error

The rooms were very nicely decorated. The staff were helpful. Having the spa is a great extra.

Breakfast was fairly good; dinners very nice. Good selection of wines. SPA was small but good quality and nice sauna.

Noise from heaters that are disruptive at night.

modern clean and stylish. comfy beds. amazing bathrooms. spa and pool were clean and accessible. the location is amazing

the breakfast room was tiny, like a little living room and at times we had to wait for a table as they had few tables

Very nice building, clean modern recently renovated rooms, good and free breakfast, friendly hard working staff, hotel has arrangements for free ski lockers at the main ski departure area where the gondola departs Soldeu, hotel is only 150 meters from the ski departure area, bar has nice and warm sitting aream

Is a borderline ripoff and a poor value at 320 euros a night, rooms smallish for that price, max size is full bed, nothing larger, you hear street noise pretty much all night if your room faces the street...

Breakfast was very good but you need to book the hour from the start.

The spa was extra paid. Hotel is very hot and dry, beds and pillows are no comfortable. Ventilation very poor. Hotel canceled massage and tried to charge us for them 240 eur Hotel tried to charged another extra 160 eur by their "mistake" NOT friendly, expensive, not recommend at all this place.

Yes, the Spa has a supplement to pay as it is an additional service and it has its cost. As for the massage you were suppposed to reconfirm with us the timing that you never did and according to the cancellation policy you were supposed to pay those massage, that you didnt do. Hotel was really lovely clean and comfortable. The food was excellent especially the breakfast. The staff were all so efficient and friendly. Having a locker at the ski lift was a brilliant idea and worked perfectly. We would definitely return to this resort and the hotel xalet montana

Thank you for the question. The Hotel has its own outside parking, however it cannot be bookd in advance. Always upon the availability. Close to the hotel there is a big public parking of Grandvalira, a secured garage with more than 400 places.
