A choice of convenience, the quality can be lifted up though to meet the Radisson Blue standard.
✓ Location is great. Hard working staff. Radisson Blu is a choice of convenience. This property lost it's once glamour status to me.
✗ The social areas, the bar and restaurant can really be improved on. These can be made more attractive in look and feel. It comes across as sterile, missing any atmosphere. Typical Sandton Radisson issues with maintenance in bathrooms.

✓ Location - very close to the Old Mutual office and Sandton City Mall Breakfast - wide variety and well cooked Room - cosy
✗ The use of keys in the lifts to your floor complicated my life - that needs to be improved Half the time the keys were disabled and unknown to me I would have gone all the way to my floor only to realise the keys are not working Free Wifi was very poor

One night stay between flights
✓ The hotel is very comfortable and just across the street from Sandton Gautrain station, which is only a short direct ride from the international airport. It's a good alternative to the hotels directly at the airport for a long layover. The concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful in finding something for me to do during my short stay.
✗ Crossing the intersection from the train station to the hotel is a bit dangerous, as there are no traffic signals protecting pedestrians.

✓ The location is central, the room was beautiful, and the food was amazing. A wide selection for the breakfast menu, 😋 thoroughly enjoyed it.
✗ Someone tried to come into my room, and they had a key card sometime in the afternoon. Had to rush and close it quickly. Then I definitely knew to keep it locked 😰
