Great Location

✓ New and clean. Great location, subway station just few steps away and next door to a supermarket. Shared facilities are all good. Digital systems are impressive, making processes fast and without queue and waiting time.

✓ The location is perfect, near the main train and bus station. Facilities are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and the fridge is spacious. The dormitory is spacious as well as providing a lot of privacy. As a self-service hostel, information is provided all around the premises and extremely helpful.

✗ A bit difficult to find help if you need one during nighttime because there's no staff around. I did not encounter this problem myself, but helped someone who was struggling to check in since it is a self-service hostel. If you don't book through Booking.com, there could be some problems with obtaining the check-in code.

Very good choice close to the Hbf

✓ I was actually dreading this hostel a bit after reading some of the less positive reviews. But I was very pleasantly surprised - didn’t experience any of the disturbances that other guests have reported, and the check in couldn’t have gone smoother. The beds were almost like pods, very private and lockable. Showers and toilets in really good condition and very clean, I saw the cleaning staff hard at work when I arrived. Hofer, Billa and good food places a stones throw away. Place felt very safe and if you need to be close to the Hbf, you can’t go wrong.

✗ You have to put the bedding on your bed yourself and the sheet was non-fitted (and not big enough to tie knots under the mattress), making it hard not to get everything out of place when going to lie down. I saw that everyone else in my room had this same problem, so I’d recommend doing something about that. The towel that I was given was a hand towel, it made do but would’ve liked a bigger one for showering. But these are minor things. I’d come back here to stay again for sure!

✓ A nice and cheap place right next to the main train station in the heart of Vienna. Best to sleep over between, before or after flights. Lockable personal bunkbeds, clean and nice showers and toilets, everything you may need.
