Exquisite views, excellent food!

✓ Staff were exceptionally friendly and ensured our celebration of our 33rd wedding anniversary was as special and important to them as it was to us! They ensured our table at dinner was in premium position for the best view and even presented us with a complimentary bottle of bubbly! The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully and the waitstaff were excellent too!

Very Pleasant Stay

✓ The view from the room was exceptional! There was an uninterupted view of the lake which was stunning. The staff were very friendly and polite (especailly the young man on reception). This makes a big difference to the feel of the place. There was a free voucher for a drink at the resturant which was good. The location is great for access to lake front and also ample off street parking. There was good heating in the room, including an electric blanket on the bed. Lake Hāwea is such a beautiful spot that doesn't have the touristy feel of Wānaka. I would absolutely stay here again and book the lake front unit again.

✗ The room was comfortable but is starting to need some money spent on it to keep it looking fresh: the carpet is worn and the desk/balcony area needs restaining.

Overall a great stay whilst visiting the area...

✓ Everything was clean and tidy.. the location was amazing and the food from the hotel was awesome...

✗ Carpets in the rooms are a little threadbare and definitely need a clean... (I am a carpet cleaner so it was the first thing I noticed)

Lovely location and great views of the lake.

✓ Loved the heated beds, excellent for our stay during the winter. View was lovely. We had limited interactions with the front of house as we arrived late but even with the limited interactions, the staff were lovely. Check-in check-out process was swift and easy.

✗ Shower water pressure was a bit poor, hard to stay warm in the shower.

Hello! Thanks for your question, our Family Rooms have the capacity limited for 5 people (Maximum). In this case, we recommend you book one Lake View Studio Room for 2 Adults and one Lake View Family Rom for 3 Adults and 2 kids. Kind Regards

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. We allow dogs on the property, but they must have an alternative place to sleep, we do not allow them to stay in the rooms.
