Appreciative to staff's effort and the overall performance.
✓ Have been apprehensive of writing hospitality review, as it is very much down to personal perception and comparison of previous experiences. The staff here are young but very approachable, and make great effort to satisfy costumers' potential needs. Special thank you to the room service, the bar lounge staff, front desk staff, and David from the Concierge. The facility is clean, comfortable, and convenient at 5-star standard. The room I used has minor soundproofing issue, but it speaks more of some of the guests instead of the facility. Toiletry are well provided and delicate for use. Cotton wool or cotton pads are not provided, but I didn't make special requests. The ironing facility helped a great deal for me to be more presentable in the rush of travel. The bar lounge is a must-try for undisturbed wind-down in the evening. The hotel location is absolutely amazing. Its own history has witnessed the open economy of Shanghai in the recent decades as well as being surrounded by contemporary and historic landmarks. A great mix of local daily life and luxurious surrounding in comfortable walking distance. It has been a memorable stay, look forward to the opportunity coming back, and sincere wishes to the hotel and staff going from strength to strength.
