Lovely hotel in Valparaiso
✓ Karin and the hotel manager were extraordinary people, very caring and attentive.. the location was lovely and well situated in the town. Great ambience and history atmosphere.. really enjoyed my stay here in Valparaiso
✗ Nothing, only a little chilly at night could use some extra heating in the room that's all. Perhaps a carpet beside the bed for cold floors. Everything else lovely and fine.

✓ Beautiful historic home turned into a comfortable, appealing boutique hotel. Amazing views, especially from the terrace. Two rooms have private terraces on the top floor that are particularly recommended. Nice staff and lovely breakfast, as well.

Fabulous
✓ The breakfast was good; eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit and more. Good coffee. Attentive staff, good location. It’s an old building with wooden floors so it’s not sound proof. But its age and construction are a big part of its charm.

Exceeded our expections
✓ This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff made our stay wonderful and, if I could rate them higher than exceptional, I would. Every single member of staff went out of their way to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. The manager booked tickets for us when we couldn’t get a booking website to work, he lent us his train ticket and booked taxis for us; we couldn’t ask for better service. The location is perfect, close to the best restaurant area and in the best part of town. The hotel itself is a historic building and has lovely terraces with views of the harbour. Breakfast was excellent and served on one of the terraces so we could look out over the harbour to the hills in the distance. We were very sad to leave as we had been made to feel at home.
