Desamuda Village

the perfect central spot that was clean and comfortable

Peaceful and lovely stay right in the heart of Seminyak!

✓ The position is great. Right in the heart of the center of Seminyak but at the same time the Villa is located in a silent and peaceful hidden corner. You don’t even realise that you’re in the center for how silent it was. Lovely walk to the Seminyak beach which takes about 20 minutes. The village itself has it own old charm. I have had the most peaceful and deepest sleep at the Desamuda Village during my whole trip in Bali. The buffet breakfast was delicious and various and they can prepare hot dishes as well (scrambled eggs/ omelette etc) if you want. I would definitely come back to Desamuda Village if I return to Seminyak in the future.

✗ The water pressure is extremely low in the bathroom on the upper floor. I have had to use the bathroom on the ground floor. But not a big issue since there are two bathrooms.

✗ We stay every year. The place just needs a bit of maintenance. Pool light not working. Door broke, cupboard hanging off, no cold water/filter not working, missing pool tiles. Has changed owners and needs a little more attention to detail to keep customers.

✗ the shower at the outdoor bathrooms had very low water pressure, bed was too soft as it sinks in when you lie on it. had backache the next morning. breakfast quality could improve

✓ The staff here are wonderful. I had a really nice breakfast on my second day here. Bacon, Egg and sausage cooked to order. The main Pool area was nice. Will definitely be back next time in Seminyak
