✓ Asked for and received a quiet room facing away from the street. Comfy bed, good breakfast, perfect location.

✓ The hotel's location between Znojmo historic centre and the train/bus stationand the relative quiet inside the building in the evening.

✗ I knew in advance about the fluctuating prices according to the Euro exchange rate (in the final the price was higher), but after being put up by the hotel service in the wrong room, I was asked to pay extra. This was of course not my fault. The room had no air-conditioning, no fridge and only hot water running in the shower (no chance to control hot/cold ratio), which was quite unpleasant on very hot summer days and sultry evenings of my late June visit. In addition, there was a street lamp directly in front of the room window, fortunately this could be solved with a dark blindfold (I understand that this construction solution is not possible to change, but it can be taken into account in the price/performance ratio). In the Sunday evening I at least wanted to cool down in the restaurant with a draft beer, but according to the barmaid "there is just no beer on tap". I fully understand how difficult it must be to run a hotel these days, but if cost-saving measures cross a certain threshold, they become counterproductive (for the guest, of course).

Good place to stay at a steal price

✓ Absolute steal price which makes me forget about everything else. Perfect location, too

✗ Hotel does not have own parking, tv was not working, fastening of shower was loose. It looks like refurbishing is overdue (nothing horrible thou)

✓ Passable breakfast and location in the town center.

✗ No wardrobe in the room, except a small cabinet by the bed, so we had to leave our belongings on the floor. No instrument to make boiling water for tea or coffee.

Not Bad but watch out

✓ Location is good. Right next to the centre. Easy parking. Beer was Nice as well.

✗ This hotel scammed me with the exchange rate. You have to pay in euro's but when you want to pay by card they charge 27.5 czk for 1 euro. So you pay approx 13% more then advertised.
