✓ Awesome service, clean and safe. Thanks to Nomani and Makereta at restaurant for beautiful smiles and customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and maintenance guys were quick to fix what was needed in the room.

We really like staying at the Holiday Inn when in Suva for the location.

Excellent although pricey hotel

✓ This is a high quality business and pleasure hotel located centrally in Suva and an ideal base for the discerning traveler. The food is high quality, the staff very friendly, the Internet fast, and the beds comfortable - there's a lot to like. The breakfast buffet was the first that I've struck in the region that starts to approach other parts of the world for quality and variety.

✗ All this quality comes at a price, which expensive and much more than I would usually pay for a business trip, but there were few other options. My other quibble is around the room setup at night. The hotel maintains bright floodlights to light the outside in the area between the accommodation wing and the canal, and anybody can access that area. This makes it impossible to sleep with the blinds open or air flowing through, for privacy and security reasons, meaning that the air conditioning was required even in winter. There is no ceiling fan for an alternative source of airflow.

i was outraged that breakfast was not free given the price i paid!

The only place to stay in Suva

✓ The breakfast was good. The location was great. The views were great from the Hotel. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable.

✗ There were only 2 tiny 330 ml water bottles in the room and they didn't want to give more... although they did agree to give 2 more on one day. Other than breakfast, the food was bad. They served a burger with rice between the buns! But the pros far outweigh the cons.

Fabulous

✓ Staff were amazing, we arrived early and were able to check in. We stayed in room 258 upstairs and was at the water end looking over the pool, beautiful view of everything. Loved the live band at dinner, the whole vibe of the Holiday was great. Would definitely stay again, wished we had stayed longer here.
