"Clean, modernized room and restaurant.
✓ The room was very clean and looked modern. The restaurant now looks amazing!
I enjoyed breakfast, especially the breakfast sausages for having a subtle flavour compared with other brands. I actually went to ask what brand they used.
✗ The drink machine on the third floor didn't give all my change back. I went to the front desk and they were able to give me the money back, but only after signing a form... overall a hassle when I just wanted to buy a bottle of water.
One of the elevators wasn't working properly.

Wasn't affected by the renovations at all, there are people working during the day here and there, but I am happy that they still run the hotel and provide room to live :)

Slight smell in room, maybe from new furniture or AC, could not open windows, but wasn't too bad
"Good all around service. The rooms were nice and comfy.
✓ The room was quite nice and a fair value. The beds were comfortable. The rooms had appropriate amenities.
✗ There was construction going on and I'm perfectly willing to be understanding there, but there were a few times the elevators would get tied up. The workers were very polite and gave guests the opportunity to go first, but the elevators would sometimes be going down or up one floor at a time, while guests waited in the lobby. Perhaps a service elevator would be a good idea, if it makes sense in this building.
Also, test the tv remotes. The one we had didn't work. It didn't bother me really and I let the lobby know and they were receptive as they were starting to hear of this issue.
I'd also like to have found a washroom on the main floor. If it was there, it was obscured in some way by the construction or there was no sign. One near the restaurant would be a good idea.

✗ Disappointed that the restaurant was not open. They had an issue with water and could not do the morning buffet. Property is in the middle of a remodeling process.
"Everything you’d expect from a value inn
✓ This place was as advertised. It’s a value hotel but when you’re only staying for one night it was everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable and has been recently renovated.
✗ It’s still under construction as of June 2023. Mostly it was fine and I’m sure we were safe but elevators were older and renos in the halls on the main level were weird when you see things like fire alarm bells dangling off the wall by their power cable.
