✓ What I didn't like🚿Shower wrong shower head zero pressure water not very hot. Veranda was broken, out side lights next to steps wasn't not working. Front door was broken. . And no safes..

I was quite pleased with how things worked out at Mook Mantra. Lovely resort on a fantastic island.
✓ I really enjoyed my stay at Mook Mantra. I usually stay at a different resort on Koh Muk but they were closed for renovations. But I was quite happy with how things turned out at Mook Mantra. Great location. SUPER quiet. Fantastic bungalow with a very big comfortable bed. Awesome bathroom with sky light. Plus a fridge to keep my drinks and snacks cold. Awesome! Super close to everything - snack shop, places to eat, beach right off the front of the property etc.
✗ Nothing comes to mind. The resort totally met my expectations and can't think of anything negative to say!

Warm and lovely
✓ First impression, I love this place once I entered the area. Enjoy the green atmosphere, staffs were really helpful, responded every requests enthusiasticly with smiles.

Decent place for cost
✓ Room was somewhat basic but overall resort was nice. Staff were great.
✗ Bathroom had strong sewage smell. Nylon sheets on beds weren't the best in a hot climate.

Great value for money, nice bungalow on the seafront
✓ Ko (on site) and Kritt (through whatsapp) were always available, super kind and always able to help. with transfers, longtail boat, everything. location is great on the water, beautiful property. bungalow and bed confortable. aircon super good for good nights rest!
✗ The bathroom of cottage 3 is spacious and shower comfortable, yet it seems to be quite ‘amateur’ style constructed :-) Water comes from the sink on the ground. Didnt bother too much but be prepared for it at least :-) There is no food / bfast options avail. Fortunately there are enough options around. So not really an issue. Miss Island has amazing bfast options btw :-) Quite some noise from motor bikes, roosters and the aircon. but with ear plugs we slept like babies.

Not as laid back as expected
✓ Koh Mook is lovely but sadly it starts to be overrun by tourists and not all locals are happy about foreigners trotting along the small paths around the island. The accomodation was very basic despite being super expensive. The fan did not work, the bathroom was smelly and not very clean. The rooms in the family bungalow have no furniture besides the beds.

1) On the night of 1/5, we are full. Rooms will be available on the 2nd of May. 2) A public boat service is only 1time daily leaves at 12:15-12:30. Other than that you can still charter a boat (long tail) at 600.-baht/trip.

We are on Koh Mook, Trang province. You can park the car at Kuantungku pier where a boat leaves to Koh Mook. There are safe public parking spaces or there is parking lot where you can pay 100.-/night in the nearby area.
