Great location

✓ The location is great. It's by the Kaanapali Beach and next to the Whaler's Village where you can go to lot of shops. You can see the beautiful sunset. The beach has brown sand but very clean. We used the valet service in the property everyday which is really nice. Valet staff were so friendly. The property is clean. Our room is big.

✗ This condo hotel does not have a lot of amenities. The pool is small so it was crowded. No free breakfast. No restaurants in the property. Nothing much going on or to do in the hotel. It's just overpriced. I guess because it's Maui. A big disappointment was getting our car through valet service at 5:30 AM for an early start on our drive on the road to Hana. Nobody was at the front desk or the lobby. I had to find somebody and found a staff who was at the back office at the far corner busy on her computer. I told her about getting my car. She said would call Security at that time. Nobody showed up after 30 minutes. I kept on following up and she said she's been calling through radio. Another staff arrived at 6 AM. It turned out that the night staff was new and was calling Security at the wrong channel. She needs better orientation of her new job. What happens in case of emergency? We got our car after 40 minutes of waiting and a later start of our drive. We stayed in room 816. I complained about no hot water. A maintenance guy came. The shower knob was reversed. Hot water is turning the knob to blue and cold water to red zone. The front desk staff should have known this to warn guests or this issue should have been fixed to avoid inconvenience.

i’ll come here again. i even almost cancelled my other stay in South Maui to come back 😬

Room 1213 was cluttered and no universal wifi in the hotel (i.e. only works in YOUR room)

✓ Great service on check-in, was assigned room 1213, note that rooms are decorated by the condo owner, not the "hotel". The location on the beach and close to restaurants was great. Parking was free and plenty of spots available.

✗ My room (1213) had a Murphy bed instead of a regular bed and the room was incredibly crowded with too much furniture. Wifi only worked in the room, no universal wifi in the facilities for use which was inconvenient at times.
