I updated my room with booking rewards and that was excellent! The room was clean, comfortable, great facilities, toiletries. The hotel location was great and it has awesome staff and restaurant.

Though the room size was poor, than I expected, I enjoyed it.

Delivered what it promised, clean, different. I only met three people in Armenia that really knew how to speak English, one was at the front desk of this hotel.

The windows were strange… I couldn’t completely close them. The road underneath had some traffic all night…

The hotel is close to the city center. There is a good restaurant "Shiraz" just next to the hotel. Before moving in, I asked for a room with a balcony and private parking. The hotel arranged everything according to my requests. Also, I booked a room without breakfast, so I have no idea how the kitchen was ). The room and toilet are large, bright, and comfortable. The workers are very attentive and friendly. I am satisfied with everything, so I will come again.

Perfect location. A few steps away from everything. Very clean room. Great value for money.

The rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning due to the thin windows’ glass. Wifi coverage could be better.

Great location, beautiful building with an amazing marble stairs/entrance at reception area. You are probably in the safest part of the city with the police stations just behind the hotel and our overall experience was positive! You wouldn't find many alternatives in Gyumri so have this hotel in your to-go options

I usually give 10 points when the hotel goes the extra mile. For instance leaving some free drinks or fruits for the guests or small a souvenir item as a gift on the last day, will make always a difference. I rank 8-9 when everything around the services are provided as normal. They have No lifts and so families with pushchairs or disabled people may have hard time to access the property and that's a facility issue especially when staying for a few days. There shouldn't be forgotten towels one day and bin emptying the other. Or for instance there was no one to help us with the luggage lifting when we arrived. As we experienced quite a bit of minor 'misses' I wouldn't class Araks in the range of 8-9 I would still recommend the hotel especially if you are happy with the stairs. Considering in Gyumri we don't have a lot of choice, Araks is still in my list of favourites for my next arrival and by then I hope there will be a lift in the building. The staff Is super friendly and on the last day the lady from the counter helped me with a few urgent phone calls.

Firstly, the price was really good. Secondly, the location was exactly what I needed. And thirdly, the hotel was worth every penny. The staff member was very polite and the room and bathroom were impeccably clean. The amenities and towels also were provided in the room.

clean and nice room. perfect location

unfriendly stuff. we arrived quite late at night with several bags and our room was on the first floor ( no elevator) the guy from the reception didn’t even ask us for help. no tea or coffee in the rooms.
