✓ The outside does not prepare you for the remodeled rooms. Lots of space in the main room. Staff was friendly and coffee was fresh.

✗ The bathroom is very tight. The breakfast was meh.

Clean and good value in NOVA if you can climb stsirs

✗ This facility has several levels without elevator. One has to carry own luggage climbing up and down stairs. Not friendly for elderly guests pr those with mobility challenges

✓ Clarion Inn I had a week-long stay in Washington DC in July 2023 and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel than Clarion Inn. Each member of the staff was welcoming, polite and friendly.They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff at the front desk was very patient and helpful! Odko gave me a room which suited my health conditions. Sam understood my predicament of not knowing where to get vegetarian food from and ordered food for me. Lori was quick to respond with a smile. Eric was a dependable presence! Night or day , the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff remained unfaltering ! The housekeeping and kitchen staff worked diligently behind the scenes but their efforts were visible. Kyra and Trey were very friendly and supportive and made every effort to help me. Each one contributed to my wonderful stay and I have the deepest gratitude for all. The premises, including the rooms ,were comfortable, well designed and very well appointed. I loved that there were two basins in the room. Very practical indeed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets very soft. All very clean. The swimming pool was a bonanza. If there’s one thing I would request for, it would be an elevator! Travel-weary guests need that!!

Good and cheaper location option

✓ A group of friends and I like to stay out this way when we visit the DC/Arlington area. We stayed at this hotel as a cheaper option compared to DC hotels. It was a quick drive or Uber to the city.

Try to treat customers better

✓ The pool was closed earlier then what it indicated on their web site. After leaving much earlier than I wanted to in DC in order to get back to the hotel before the pool was supposed to close, when I got there I found the pool locked . No one on staff at that time had a key to unlock the pool. Extremely disappointing. When I talked to the manager when I checked out, all he wanted to do was make excuses about how they need to close the pool earlier. Then he made more excuses about how difficult it would be to change the closing time on their web site so other customers would not be misinformed like me. Definitely very little interest in customer service

Overall good

✓ Hotel was OK although room needed refurbisment. Some mould was see on bath joint bath needed attentions including painting. Other wise things were well maintained old fashioned
